Dear Graduate,

To assist you with your career, The Culinary Institute Alain and Marie LeNotre is sponsoring an alumni association. Through the formation of an alumni association, graduates can stay connected, learn about job placement opportunities, participate in alumni receptions and class reunions and benefit from professional discounts and do exciting projects like an organic fresh herb and vegetable garden etc. .

Let me introduce myself, my name is Gina Theffo and I attended the institute in 2006 and, like you, I found it thrilling to learn the techniques of French master chefs. As the coordinator president of the new association I am interested in getting to know more about you and your unique enthusiasm for the culinary arts. I am looking for individuals who would like to be involved in the association as well as individuals to participate on the alumni board. There are a variety of positions that will need to be filled as we start a new organization such as vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and activities chair to name a few.

The Culinary Institute Alain & Marie LeNotre is proud to announce that the President of the Alumni Association, Mrs. Gina Theffo, took the silver medal in the National Wedding Cake competition that took place in Tulsa, Oklahoma in September 29th and 30th 2007.

This year’s theme was “Hollywood Glamour” and Gina presented her interpretation of the film Amadeus titled “God Beloved”.

75 eager professional participants competed in the event this year and Gina Theffo won a crystal vase along with her silver medal. Congratulations Gina!
