
Chef Dominique Bocquier was born in Challans (Vendée 85), France. He graduated from the Academie of Nantes with a degree in Baking and Pastry. After graduating in 1992, Chef Dominique began his career as the Pastry Chef for La Marie Gourmande Patisserie Brest. He later became the Chef de Partie for Harrods Knightbridge London and Patisserie Cassel Fontainebleau. Chef Dominique became the pastry Chef for La Grande Cascade, a famous restaurant with one Macaron Michelin in the Bois de Boulogne, Paris, after working for four years in Fauchon Relais Desserts etc., one of the best pastry shops in La Madeleine, Paris with “Pierre Hermé”. Chef Dominique has performed many demonstrations and expositions in salons and schools in France and other countries. He moved to the United States in May of 2001.
Chef Dominique Bocquier was awarded Third Place in the Pastry Contest organized by the Federation de la Patisserie-Confiserie-Glacerie-Chocolaterie and was certified by the Compagnon Des Devoirs Unis on October 21, 2000. His many professional memberships include Union Compagnonnique Des Devoirs Unis Paris and the American Culinary Federation of New York.
